    Hammer Summer Classic

    Friday, August 10, 2007, 10:07 AM [General]

Those of you who know me or are from my area probably know that I run a Summer League out of Wonder Bowl. I've only been the secretary/treasurer of it for three years, but it's been around for quite some time. It's one of the bigger (maybe the biggest, who knows?) summer leagues in our association, and it's a pretty competitive league as well. This year, we got a sponsor, Hammer Bowling, and I just wanted to give them a quick shoutout.

Thanks to Chris Forry and BuddiesProShop.com for putting me in touch with some good people.

Thanks to Brian Graham at Hammer for agreeing to send us a case of Black Widow Pearls. Three of those will go to the winning team, and the 4th ball will go to a bowler in the league who wins a raffle drawing for it.

Below is a link to the official standings for the league. There are two weeks left, and to be honest it feels like a baseball pennant race. It looks like it's going to go down to the final position round. The league page has over 1400 hits since the beginning of the league in May. Sounds like a solid number to me! By the way, don't look at the subs averages. I don't want anyone thinking I've improved or anything ;)
